Peep Art!

A homage to Those yellow and sticky Confections

Peep 3

Why, man, he doth bestride the narrow world
Like a Colossus, and we petty men
Walk under his huge legs and peep about
To find ourselves dishonourable graves.

-William Shakespeare in Julius Caesar, Act 1, Scene 1
Commentary
Peep 3 marks the beginning of a new era in Peep Art. After toiling in an idiom for so long, Peep Art's creators decided it was time to redefine themselves. This work differs along many dimesions:
  • Orange pumpkin peeps instead of yellow chicken peeps
  • Multiple peeps on the page instead of a solitary peep
  • Specific shapes (e.g., bats) instead of random shapes
In this piece, the burnt peep is still smiling, oblivious of its pain. Its two compatriots are smiling devilishly. However, it is ultimately up to the viewer if the "Boo!" in stark letters is a cry of derision from the two peeps, or is it the burnt peep, reeking revenge on its enemies?
